Vintage sterling silver Modernist Southwestern large heavy pin brooch. Suggestive of a stylized Navajo hogan with a hand-lashed framework rising from behind, having amethyst cabs as terminals. The main stone is a polished banded agate. Stamped "BR" within a circle and "STERLING" on back. Approximately 2-7/8" L x 2-1/4" W. Circa 1940s-60s. See pictures for a visual description of this item.
