These 6 finger bowls were made by Mepoco Ware in Japan in the 30s and part of a big dining set. Each bowl has the handpainted image of a geisha in the center and below her the bottom half of the bowl is a gold lusterware finish. Marked on the back is "Mepoco Ware, Made in Japan" in red and a flag. The cups are in very good condition for their age...no chips or cracks. They measure 5" across and hold about 2 oz.
