Mazarati – Mazarati 2 (2003) World Beyond Music Inc. [Disc Only] - Rare! Prince Connection! The funk-rock band Mazarati was created by Prince's bassist and protégé Brown Mark, with strong behind-the-scenes support from Prince. The group got signed to Paisley Park/Warner Bros. Records, and soon after released their first self-titled album which was co-produced by Brown Mark, Prince and David Rivkin. From this album came the band’s first single, 100 MPH, which rose to #19 on the R&B charts. The group made another album through Motown in 1989 and released more singles. Since then, members of the band have worked with a variety of musicians and producers including Paula Abdul and Prince's sideman, Dr. Fink. In 1989 Mazarati was signed and released a second album with Motown Records. This is that second album. [DISC ONLY]
