Japanese Sosaku Wooden Kokeshi Doll signed "Moon Shadow" by master craftsman Suigai Sato. Named Semishigure, translating to "cicadas in chorus." This large-size doll is no longer available. Hand-painted in deep blue, in very good condition for its age, some colors faded and scratched. A unique piece for collectors. Sato Suigai received the Prime Ministers Award in 1966.
